Description
Hostal Baleia Deluxe proposes a low-density deluxe resort hotel in Piauí, Brazil, conceived as a tourist enclave integrated into a tropical landscape of great natural value. On a 36,800 m² plot, it organises 121 rooms and 13 suites, combining accommodation, leisure, dining, sport, wellness and services.
The proposal is structured around a central clubhouse and a series of accommodation pieces distributed among gardens, water areas and outdoor paths. In this way the complex works as a self-contained destination, where the guest experience unfolds continuously between room, shared spaces, pool, vegetation and landscape.
The programme brings together a motor lobby, reception, retail, lobby bar, meeting and convention rooms, restaurants, an entertainment theatre, an outdoor grill-bar, a nursery, a gym-spa and thalassotherapy, addressing the different moments of the stay. The architecture is resolved with horizontal volumes, lightweight roofs and sheltered outdoor spaces, with a warm image tied to the Brazilian climate, avoiding concentrating the programme in a single building.
Water is the central element of the composition: pools, landscaped areas and pedestrian routes structure the resort and dissolve the boundary between architecture and nature. The result is a complete system of hospitality aimed at a calm, exclusive stay in direct contact with the place.
