Description
Huancayo sits at 3,250 m above sea level, in the agricultural Mantaro valley, articulated by a road axis with transversal streets. The plot, to the south of the town, has great natural beauty: imposing rows of eucalyptus trees that contrast with the green and yellow tones of the grass.
The strategy is to preserve the character of the place. Much of the tree cover is kept and the phases and condominium geometry are adapted to the existing parterres, with water incorporated as a further element of the design. The result is an organic, functional fabric that inhabitants experience as an improvement of their territory, enhancing its natural values.
The project's main value is its public space. Roads are laid out so as not to interrupt the green areas, giving continuity to the park, and the streets connect organically with it: the whole urbanisation can be walked along green routes with activities for all ages. Built between 2016 and 2020.
