Haras de Asia
The project is located in Mala, in the province of Cañete, in a rural environment close to the coast and about 100 km south of Lima, with good connections thanks to its proximity to the Panamericana Sur freeway.
The land is surrounded by isolated houses of an agricultural character, forming small-sized urban centers scattered throughout the territory. Therefore, there is no consistent urban pattern around the land, highlighting the rural fabric and the landscape in the vicinity of the plot.
The project is intended for the creation of residential plots for vacation home use, forming a small family urbanization that seeks to highlight the value of the environment and landscape and integrates the rural world of horses into its design. It also has an access portico and a recreation area with a club house for the inhabitants at the entrance of the property.
As design criteria, the adaptation to the place is sought at all times, taking as a reference the topography of the terrain and the visuals towards the mountain range. In this way, it creates a connection between the project and the environment, showing itself as an extension of it.
Based on this criterion and to facilitate access to all the plots, a longitudinal axis is generated from which some secondary roads start, ending in cul-de-sac. The streets are conceived as areas for recreation and enjoyment of public space, with trees as the main resource. To adapt to the rural character of the project, the roads are built with stabilised soil, respecting a landscaped area on both sides.
As for the lots, the design seeks the optimal proportion between built space and free space, allowing the development of houses integrated into the landscape capable of showing the rural character and its adaptation and connection with the environment.
