“Altos del Valle” urbanisation

"Altos del Valle" was the first urbanisation to be developed in the Moche valley. This would be the start of future urban developments in the area that would generate a significant population centre. Therefore, in the initial phase of the project, a change was proposed in the Integral Plan to extend the existing roads and create two ring roads linking the municipality of Trujillo with the coast. In this way, a road system that articulates the future territorial traffic is achieved.

In our land, two structural roads are connected, which form the axes of the urbanisation and divide the area into three portions. Each part is articulated with a secondary road to give access to the plots organised in the form of condominiums. This results in a hierarchical road system with first, second and third order roads that reduce routes and create an optimal flow.

With regard to the organisation of the different uses, the central area of the development is designed with a more commercial character as it has more traffic. Around it are the residential condominiums connected through a network of park. This park forms a green network through which winding paths of a dynamic character invite you to take a stroll. As the garden expands, rest areas appear with a variety of content that allow for doing different activities.

The park system, together with the tree-lined roads, envelop the blocks and create a functional and high-quality urban space where the pedestrian is the protagonist. The result is an environmentally sensitive development that translates into a natural extension of the valley itself.

The ultimate goal of urban planning is to provide comfort for residents, respecting nature while creating a sustainable environment.
